Geneva Irvel Inman Johnson

Mrs. Geneva Irvel (Inman) Johnson, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She is preceded in death by her husband Harvey Johnson, sons, Charles and Steven Johnson, grandson, Scott Johnson and parents, Clarence Lendon and Nancy Elma Busby Inman. She is also preceded by her siblings; Pewee Inman, Doris Sims and John Debs Inman.

Mrs. Johnson was an active member for many years of Chickasaw First Baptist Church. She was a resident of Chickasaw for over 65 years. Known as Granny to most, she enjoyed gardening, growing and canning vegetables and fruits. Granny loved everyone and was loved by all who knew her.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her sons, Harvey (Darlene) Johnson, Gary (Gay) Johnson, daughters-in-law, Wanda Johnson and Lori Spitzkopf. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jack (Shannon) Johnson, Amy(Allen) Merryman, Claudette (Sean) Bryant, Matthew (Toni) Johnson, Rachel (Daniel) Sawyer, Jared (Morgan) Johnson, Jacob Johnson and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile on Monday, February 14, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Saraland, AL.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandson; Jack Johnson, Matt Johnson, Jared Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Allen Merryman and Larson Hall.
