Gerald “Jerry” Leon Dolan, Sr., 91 years old, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 with his family at his bedside. He was preceded in death by his parents, James William Dolan, Sr. and Eva Parker Dolan, his son Gerald Leon Dolan Jr., and his brothers James Williams Dolan Jr. and Donald Edward Dolan.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy “Dot” Armstrong Dolan; daughter Monica Norwood (Jeff); son Brian Dolan (Diane); three grandchildren Lacey Powell, Alexi Cox, Gerald L. Dolan III; and four great grand children.
Jerry served in the Navy during WWII, and he worked for National Airlines and Pan Am for 34 years. He also owned his own business for 22 years.
Until his time of death, Jerry was healthy and lived a very active life. He enjoyed his life with his family and he will be missed greatly by all that knew him.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Pine Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am, at Pine Crest Funeral Home, until the graveside service begins.
