Mr. Gerald B. Pierce, a native and lifelong resident of Tanner-Williams, died at home on Sunday March 25, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaines and Jennie Belle Pierce, one sister, Mary Ashcraft and one grandson, SPC. Steven Givens. He is survived by his wife Norma Pierce, one son, Mike (Joyce) McDuffie, two sisters, Voncile (Billy) Kendrick and Virginia (DC) Kendrick, one grandchild, Christopher (Annastaisa) Etheridge, all of Mobile County, AL.; three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the Gospel Lighthouse Holiness Church on Thursday March 29, 2012, at 12 noon. Visitation will start at 11 AM. Interment will be in Roberts Chapel.
