Gerald Tyler Snyder Sr.

Gerald Tyler Snyder, Sr. 66, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011 at the residence after a brief illness. He was born in Mobile on December 30, 1944. He attended Vigor High School and spent four years in the United States Air Force. He worked for Bachelor’s Service in Mobile as a HVAC technician and later as a warehouse manager. He was preceded in death by his parents Harley and Ruth Snyder of Mobile and his brothers Bert Snyder of San Antonio, TX and Sam Snyder of Mobile. He is survived by his sons Ty (Cindy) Snyder of Dalton, GA; Kevin Snyder of Mobile and granddaughter Andrea Snyder of Rome, GA; sisters, Juanita Smith of Youngsville, NC; Joyce Williams of Bradenton, FL; Gloria Becker of Van Alstyne, TX; Sara Harms of Plano TX; Ann (Desmond) Bond of Mobile and brother Dennis Snyder of Mobile. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
