Geraldine Weiss Shaw was born on July 5, 1919 in Mobile, Alabama. She passed away on July 30, 2011 at 92 years of age. She was a long time member of St. Joan of Arc and St. Pius X Churches. She was preceded in death by her husband George Shaw and her parents James and Aleen Weiss. She very much loved her family, friends, and church family. Everyone loved her for her humor, faith, kindness and love. She truly was an amazing woman and each of us will hold our special memories of her in our hearts. She is survived by her endeared cousins Cecile Barnes Odom and John J. Barnes with numerous other family and friends that each shared a treasured relationship. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, with the Rosary at 5:15 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Friday, August 5, 2011 from St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
