March 3, 1918 - Aug. 8, 2014 Age Ninety Six, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 after a long and happy life. Gertrude was a native of Mobile and resident of Fairhope, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Brent Smith, Sr. and a son-in-law, Jimmy Harris. She is survived by a son, Harold Brent (Debbie) Smith, Jr., three daughters; Patricia Harris, Gloria (Ray) Halvorson and Marcia (Robert) Hall, eleven grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 11:30mam Monday, August 11, 2014 at Pine Crest Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
