Mr. Gregory Marcet McConnell, age 52, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. He is preceded in death by his mother, Irma McConnell, brother, Charles, grandmother, Mary Ellen McConnell, grandfather, Burkett McConnell and niece, Genesis Hancock. Greg is survived by his father, Burkett McConnell, nieces, Kassie McConnell and Charlene McConnell. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Pamela McConnell, great nieces, Tamara Smith, Heather Hancock and great-nephew, Charles McConnell. Greg was an avid Alabama football fan and carefree, lover of life man. Visitation will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy., on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tueday, September 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.Condolences may be offered at www.pinecrestfuneralhome.com.
