Harry Lee "Robby" Robinson

Harry Lee “Robby” Robinson – dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, a 73 year-old native of Mecklenburg County, NC and a longtime resident of Wilmer passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. He faithfully attended the First Baptist Church of Wilmer where he was very involved with his Sunday school class. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was an avid hunter. Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Betty Nelson Robinson. He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Pierce (Michael); three grandchildren, Carlee, Cassie, and Stephen Pierce; two great-grandchildren, Addy Pierce and River McLean; as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from Oyster Bay Baptist Church at 4280 Plash Road in Gulf Shores on Friday, November 4, 2011, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Visitation will be held from Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Thursday, November 3, 2011, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Oyster Bay Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Wilmer, 13371 Moffett Rd., Wilmer, AL 36587.
