So sorry to hear about your mother.  My mother has been gone 10 years and I still look over my shoulder and wonder, what would mom do or say.

I remember when Uncle John and Jealean coming to visit us in Colorado.  Many times we would go camping.   On one of those trips we were tired, hungry, but anxious to set up our tent. As our car bounced down the dark rutted,  bumpy road that seemed to a kid to go on forever, Aunt Jealean kept us laughing so hard with her wit, that we thought we would pee our pants.  She always had a knack to take some of the edge off situations.  Those trips were always cherished memories.  

So many wonderful memories of staying with my cousins Debbie, Denys and David at Aunt Jealean and Uncle  John’s home for the many Summers over the years  when I was  a young girl.  

Being a Coloradan , visiting Alabama, during the hottest time of year,  I remember how I “tried to play” outside but ended up back inside in the air conditioning before long to play inside!

I remember sitting at the piano with Debbie’s hands gliding across the keys  and hoping someday that I would learn to play the piano ... 

I can still remember the smell of The Paper mill where Uncle John worked.
