Helen Lee Chin, 89 years old, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 29, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones. Beloved wife of Gene Lee Chin (deceased), she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked hard in her native China and raised her five children in Mobile, AL and was a partner to her husband in the Sam Joy Laundry and the House of Chin Restaurants in Mobile, AL and Biloxi, MS. She is survived by Judy Umeda (Jim) and Tracy (Bill), and Mark (Courtney) and Elizabeth and Allison of Little Rock, AR; by Bruce Lee (Barbara) and Ben (Anita) of Mobile, AL; by Nancy Szu-tu (Bob) and Brad, Greg and Kevin of Memphis, TN; and by Diana Wong (Richard) and Brian (VyVyann) and Brandon, and Keith (Adrianne) and Madeleine and Lilly; and Alice Yee (Lance) and Michael and Stephen of Houston, TX. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home on Saturday December 5, 2015 at 12 Noon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 until 12 Noon. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
