Helen Edwina Brown Stapleton

Helen Edwina Stapleton – age 75, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, a native of Coffeeville, AL and longtime resident of Theodore passed away at her home on Saturday, January 12, 2013. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Stapleton was preceded in death by her son, Floyd L. Stapleton, Jr. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Floyd L. Stapleton, Sr.; children, Elaine S. Hyre, Virginia S. Bynum (Jerry), Martin Stapleton (Loretta), Ann S. Lee (Bubba), Patricia S. Elam, Darlene S. Dixon, Tracey Auerbach (Barry) and Mark Stapleton; brothers, Dewey Brown and Lee Brown; sister, Shirley Craig; 24 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 15, 2013.
