

Hilda Marie Robichaux McNeeley - the beloved daughter of the late Nic and Jackie Robichaux, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010, in Mobile, AL. Hilda was born, June 29, 1957, in New Orleans, LA where she spent 42 years of her life. She served in the U.S. Army for four years and the Louisiana National Guard for 11 years. She was a resident of Mobile, AL for the past ten years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nic and Jackie Robichaux, and brother, Kenneth George Robichaux. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy McNeeley; three loving children, Melissa Marie Reid, Ronald Jay Reid, Jr. (Julie) and Jennifer Jeanne Reid; one granddaughter, Zoey Elizabeth Reid; two brothers, Van Robichaux, Jr. (Karen) of New Orleans, LA and Steve Robichaux of Baton Rouge, LA; her devoted and beloved sister, Marsha Robichaux of Mobile, AL; three nieces, Renee Robichaux, Claire Robichaux and Sally Robichaux; and three nephews, Van Robichaux III, Max Stephen Robichaux, and Jack Robert Robichaux. Hilda enjoyed gathering with friends and family. She loved to laugh and to hear a good story. She was a real competitor and loved playing board games and cards. The “Grandmother Gatherings” were dear to her heart. Hilda had a kind spirit and had a loving family and many caring friends. She always thought the “little things” mattered in life. Her children know what unconditional love is because of her. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all that knew her. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street, on Thursday, March 4, 2010, from 6-9 p.m. Hilda will be cremated and her ashes laid to rest on Friday, March 5, 2010, in Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS at 12:30 p.m. Arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin St., Ext., Mobile, AL 36606.
