Hunter Patrick Lins, 22, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, a life that was just beginning cut too short. Even though Hunter was taken from us before his time, Hunter lived his life to the fullest every single day.
Hunter was born on March 5, 2002 in Mobile, Alabama. From a young age Hunter was a little spit fire with a love for anything outdoors. Hunter never met a stranger and was loved by everyone he met. Anyone that knows Hunter will tell you that he was the comedian of the bunch. If he was around you could ensure your time would be filled with laughter. Even if Hunter did not know you, he would say "if my mama loves you, then I love you".
Hunter was his mama's baby and he would be the first to tell you that. His love for his mother was evident any time they were together. Hunter's big brother Rusty was his best friend. Through good times and fist fights they had the most unbreakable sibling bond. If you saw Rusty, Hunter was not far behind.
Hunter is survived by his mother, Joy P. Walker, step father Jimbo Walker, brother Rusty Lins and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Don and Ruth Lins, maternal grandparents, Pat and Jewel Pierce and his father, Jack Lins.
A visitation for Hunter will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Solid Rock Church of God located at 11400 Tanner Williams Road, Mobile, AL. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM.
Hunter will be laid to rest at Pine Crest Cemetery West, 1599 Snow Road, Mobile, AL 36695. Pallbearers will be David Fenner, Blain Mathis, Logan Blackwell, Michael Bates, Steven Dixon and Dalton Dees.
