Jack R. Balzli a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died on Friday November 13, 2105 at a local hospital. Mr. Balzli served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, a former pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals Minor League Baseball Team, and was a Past President of The Order Of Inca Mystic Society. He was preceded in death by his son Jack “Jackie” R. Balzli Jr. and his wife of many years Annie Ruth Balzli. Mr. Balzli is survived by his cousin Clifford Balzli of Point Clear, AL, longtime friend and caregiver Peggy Barnett, and his beloved pet Cody, other nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held from Kingswood United Methodist Church on Monday November 16, 2015 at 2PM. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 12 until 2PM. Followed by interment at Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kingswood United Methodist Church.
