Jacklyn Smith Thornton, 88, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 in Mobile, Alabama. She loved to cook, and was the most generous soul that walked the earth. She will be greatly missed.

Jacklyn was preceded in death by her husband, Shade L. Thornton; and her parents, Johnny and Lucille Smith.

She is survived by her three sons, Kirk Thornton, Donald Thornton (Darlene), and Johnny Thornton; as well as two grandsons, Jason Thornton and Jonathan Thornton (Melissa).

A family graveside service will be held in Pine Crest Cemetery.
