Mr. James H. Dodson “Jim”, age 90, a native of Sayre, Alabama and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Monday, November 17, 2014. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, Retired from South Central Bell, longstanding member of Local 3907, longtime member of the Telephone Pioneers and member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn F. Dodson. He is survived by his son, Michael D. Dodson; one sister, Dorothy Dodson Barnes; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Cottage Hill Baptist Church.
