
James Thomas Gray, "Tom" - 65, a resident of Nashville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his brother David, father James, and mother Carolyn. He is survived by his partner Jacob Avery Taylor and his dog of fourteen years, Dobby. Moving to Mobile in 1990 Tom became the Artistic Director for Joe Jefferson Players. He stayed in this position until 2005 and subsequently entered the floral design industry. Tom enjoyed spending time reading, cooking, painting, and gardening. He will be dearly remembered by his loved ones for his infectious laughter, his incredible cooking, and most of all for his creativity which was his gift to the world. Tom's life may be summed up in a quote that he cherished: "No regrets - heights and depths and times in between - is a good life." -Anonymous.
Visitation will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church on Friday, February 27, 2015, at 12 Noon with a funeral mass to follow at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, to Trinity Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, or to Joe Jefferson Players via their website.
