April 11, 1923 - Jan. 10, 2017 James Charles Guthrie 93 of Mobile passed away Tuesday. Mr. Guthrie was born in Liberty, MS, but was a long time resident of Mobile. Mr. Guthrie served in The United States Navy during WW II. He was preceded in death by his wife Etta Lee Guthrie, grandson Richard Lauber, Jr. Parents Jim and Minnie Guthrie and brothers Rubrel and Paul Guthrie. He is survived by his Daughters Wanda and her husband Larry Cook and Sally and her husband Richard Schwartz. Grandchildren David (Candice) Schwartz, James Schwartz, Jill (Robert) Middleton and Granddaughter in law, Vicki Lauber Miller. 7 great grandchildren.
