Mr. James Francis "Jay" Kraft Jr.

Mr. James Francis “Jay” Kraft, Jr. – a native of Buffalo, NY and a resident of Mobile, AL for 30 years, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Kraft served in the U. S. Army from 1967 until 1975, serving in Vietnam from 1968 until 1969. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Francis Kraft, Sr. and Grace Morrissey Kraft; one brother, Richard Joseph “Dick” Kraft; one son-in-law, David Lamar Roy; and one nephew, Patrick Alexander Kraft. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mrs. Janice Kraft of Mobile, AL; three children, Jennifer Michele Roy, Jeffrey Matthew (Rebecca) Kraft, and James Francis (Nicole) Kraft, III all of Mobile, AL; one sister, Grace Veronica Pfohl of Grand Island, NY; seven grandchildren, Courtney, Kelsey, Bobby, Jewel, Carson, Selina, and Robert; one nephew, Richard “Rick”; two nieces, Rebecca and Susan; and other relatives. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Odyssey Health Care. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, March 1, 2010 from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.
