James Edward “Buddy” O’Connor, 70, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama. He was born to James and Louise O’Connor on September 9, 1950 in Brandon, Mississippi. He honorably served his country in the United States Army.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Louise O’Connor; and sister, Maureen O’Connor Nichols.
He is survived by his daughter, Shannon O’Connor (Timothy Kennedy, fiancé); two grandchildren, Connor Preston and Bryar Pridgen; sister, Kathy O’Connor Hawsey (James Torchia); niece, Kareen Hawsey; nephews, Van Nichols and Karl Hawsey.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
