Janice Elizabeth Ellen Nolan Hudson – a 62 year-old native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada and a resident of Theodore passed away at her home on Friday, June 22, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was an accountant for Carlisle Medical, Inc. Mrs. Hudson was a member of the McGuire’s Pipe Band and taught Highland dancing and the bagpipes. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Henry Hudson; son, James Shannon Hunter; brother, Christopher John Nolan; and her fellow pipers in the McGuire’s Pipe Band. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
