Jean B. Huegele

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Retired Lt. Col. Vinson S. Huegele of Mobile; son Vince and Sharal Huegele, grandson Benjamin Huegele of Huntsville, AL.; sister Geraldine Whittle of Mobile; a niece and nephews, cousins and a host of friends who will cherish her memory.

Mrs. Huegele was a very gracious hostess, a sweet Southern lady and the life of a party. She loved traveling and had served in her travel club. She was an active member of Officers Wives Club and participated in many activities with military wives while Lt. Col. Huegele was active duty in the Air Force. She was a member of Regency Church of Christ and opened her home to missionaries, preachers and many others visiting Mobile over the years. She loved fashion and was an excellent seamstress, and had been a volunteer model.

Visitation for Mrs. Huegele is at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Pine Crest Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 10:00 a.m., Allen Eldridge and Rick Whittle officiating. Interment at Pine Crest will follow the service.

The family wishes to thank all the in-home caregivers who lovingly gave of themselves to make the past five years comfortable and pleasant for Mrs. Huegele; including Doris, Marsha, Tina, Melissa, Karen, Tracie and Dana. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mobile Christian School.
