Jerry Fitts-Dukes born April 19, 1944 exchanged this life for an eternal life on June 20, 2019 at a local hospital. She was born to the union of the late Mamie Johnson-Fitts and Jerome Fitts.

She was a native of Demopolis, Alabama and a resident of Mobile, Alabama for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie Johnson Burrell, Edward Burrell and Jerome Fitts, and grandmother Mary Lee Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted and loving husband for 56 years Alexander Dukes, Jr., one devoted son, Alexander (Donna) Dukes, III; two devoted daughters, Vida (Clarence) Robinson and Jada (Ron Smith) Dukes all of Mobile; four grandchildren, Justin and Bria Robinson, Mikhaela Pruitt and Dakarai Smith.

Visitation: Wednesday, June 26, 2019, 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. funeral hour, St. Catherine’s Church, 2605 Springhill Ave.
