Mr. John H. Jefferson, age 96, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017. He is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Huelene, parents, six brothers, one sister, one granddaughter, one grandson and one great granddaughter. Mr. Jefferson is survived by his children; Johnnie Faye Williams (Lewie), Diane Warren (Charles), Sheree Harper (Chester), Al Jefferson (Pat), John Jefferson, Jr. (Jane) and Larry Jefferson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Mr. Jefferson proudly served in the United States Army during WWII, the Battle of Bulge and received a bronze star. He was a member Calvary United Pentecostal Church for over 70 years. He enjoyed being a commercial fisherman. Visitation will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in funeral home chapel on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. .
