John Randall “Randy” Massey – a native of Leakesville, MS and longtime resident of Semmes, AL died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in a local hospital. Randy was an avid NASCAR fan. He loved Dale Earnhart, Sr., Alabama football and country music. He had a charming personality. He was a loving father, brother and friend who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert “Jack” and Velma Rae Massey. He is survived by one daughter, Shaena Massey; three sisters, Kay (Jimmy) Gartman, Theresa (Dwight) Strickland and Jackie Mask; companion, Kay Riley Fairchild; two step-daughters, Bradley Cox and Robin Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, October 14, 2013 at 12 p.m. from Winborn Chapel United Methodist Church in Lucedale, MS. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 11 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Winborn Chapel Cemetery.
