Mr. John Ernst Miertschin, age 83, born on April 16, 1930 passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and was retired after 42 years of service from Folgers Coffee Company. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Emma Baldwin Miertschin; two daughters, Kathy (Jerry) Fortier, Kim (Jeff) Elwell; siblings, Monroe Miertschin, Violet Tarpey; four grandchildren, Laine, David, Lauren and Emma. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 3:00 PM from Holy Cross Lutheran Church with visitation from 2 PM until service time at the church. Graveside services and interment will be held on Monday, April 5, 2014 at 3:00 PM in Seale Round Prairie Cemetery, Robertson County, Texas.
