Johnny Wayne Tolbert

Johnny Wayne Tolbert, age 62 born on June 22, 1960 in Rockmart, GA and was a current resident of Bay Minette, AL. He made his transition from his earthly home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 20, 2022, at his home with family beside him. As most people who knew Johnny they would tell you that he was a simple man who loved a simple life. He was a very dedicated husband, brother, grandfather and friend. He loved his wife Sharon, where you seen one you always seen the other. He loved his kids and grandkids with everything in him. His best days was spent with all of them. He had a love for Harley Davidsons, riding the roads on his before he got sick was a passion he had. He loved fishing, especially when he had his little fishing buddy Tyler with him. He enjoyed sitting outside late in the afternoons watching the chickens and sun go down. He was a special person to everyone and will be missed tremendously.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Charles F. Tolbert and Pauline Wallace Tolbert both of Rockmart, GA. One brother Jimmy Tolbert and one sister Susan Tolbert.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years Sharon Tolbert of Bay Minette, Al. Three sons Christopher (Misty) Tolbert of Ellijay, GA. Rodney (Joyce) Blackmon of Chillicothe. OH and Jason (Maria) Blackmon of Stockton, AL. Two daughters Tina Bankster of Atmore, Al and Terri (Jared) Cole of Milton, FL. Two sisters Teresa (Perry) Glasgow of Buchanan, GA and Christy (Stacy) Myers of Cedartown, GA. 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A special Aunt and Uncle Benny and Charlene Tolbert. A dedicated friend Scott Watkins and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Pine Crest Funeral Home and Cemetery in Mobile, AL. The family will accept friends and family starting at 11 in the morning for viewing with service following right after. Burial will also be at Pine Crest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be as followed Jason Blackmon, Scott Watkins, Shea Tolbert, Stacy Myers, Cody Myers, Flipp Tolbert.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dewayne Campbell and Makenzie Mosley.
