Joseph William Gullette

Joseph W. Gullette – a native of Charleston, SC and resident of Mobile, AL died Monday, April 18, 2011 at home. Joseph was a man of many friends and talents. He was an avid outdoorsman as well as a collector of antiques. He spent many years of his youth as a musician. He loved to play guitar and piano. He was a loving friend, brother, son, husband, and father. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, James Henry Gullette; and brother, James Carl Gullette. Survivors include his wife, Lynn Williams Gullette; mother, Eva R. Gullette; two daughters, Anna Thurber and Katharine (Katie) Gullette; one sister, Brenda Francisco; half-sister, Anne (Clarence) Moore; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joan and Cy Ledford; nine nieces and nephews; beloved friends, Tommy Jackson, Jan Friedlander, Gene Entreken and Dan Ewing; and best friend, Bubba. A private memorial service will be held by family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
