Joseph is survived by his wife Lorraine Raymond; his children and their spouses Michelle Champion of Acworth, GA; Eric Raymond of Brooklyn, CT; and Joseph Raymond III of North Kingston, RI; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Sarza of Mobile, AL; Peter Pietros, Paul Pietros, and Linda Mambro of Warwick, RI; and John Pietros of Maryland. He also leaves behind 21 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Joseph was born in White Plains, New York on September 30, 1943. He served our country in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1966. He moved to Rhode Island and worked as a chemical operator at Ciba Geigy and Hoechst Celanese for 30 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a lifelong NY Yankees and NY Giants fan. He married the love of his life on September 11, 2014.
Joseph was a devoted husband and father. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. A private funeral service will be held for the family.
