Mrs. Julia Petronilla Harris - Age 92, a native of Mobile and longtime resident of Milledgeville, Georgia, died on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Central State Hospital in Milledgeville. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Gilmer Harris and her son, Stephen J. Harris. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca J. Gordon and her husband, Michael of Johns Creek, Georgia; her sons, Mark A. Harris and his wife Denise of Austin, Texas and Dennis A. Harris and his wife, Cathy of Newborn, Georgia, 3 Grandchildren: Nicole Leigh Harris of Mobile, Stephanie King of St. Stephens, Alabama, and Julia Harris of and 2 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral home on Sunday, August 26 from 4-6 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, August 27 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Catholic Cemetery of Mobile. Because of Julia's love of roses and gardening any contributions can be sent to Bellingrath Gardens.
