So sorry I was not able to attend the funeral.  I do want to share a memory of Julie...she was the one who told me I was pregnant! One winter afternoon during our lunch hour she and I took a walk around USA's Brookley Campus. She looked at me and said "Are you pregnant?" to which I quickly replied "No!".  She said "You are pregnant - I see it in your face. Go buy a pregnancy kit tonight and tell me the results tomorrow when you get in to work." And, much to my astonishment, I was indeed about 2 months pregnant! She was an amazing woman, and I know she will be greatly missed by family and friends.

I worked with Julie at the University of South Alabama School of Continuing Education's Elderhostel Program.  She was a good friend and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her.  She was so positive and hard working; down to earth, good person.  I am sad to hear of her passing; I thought of her just the other day out of the blue.  May the angels watch over you and give you comfort in the days ahead.  Your memories and love will give you everlasting comfort.
