She was born in Mobile, Alabama to Michael Chapman Rogers, Sr., and Linda Hobbs Rogers. She attended catholic school at St. Pius X and McGill-Toolen High School in 1983.
Julie was preceded in death by her father, Michael Chapman Rogers, Sr. and her brother, Harry Ross Rogers, II. She is survived by her mother, Linda Hobbs Rogers Smith; stepfather, Drake Smith; brother, Michael Chapman Rogers, Jr. (Cay); sister, Dr. Helen Rogers (Tom); children, Joel Balonos, Amanda Hicks, Jackie Hicks, and Adon Hicks. She is survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved deeply.
Julie had a very loving, giving, and generous heart. She had a loving and deep relationship with her family, friends, and most importantly her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Visitation for Julie will be held at Holy Family Church from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, with the Eulogy beginning at 9:45 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
