Larry Byron Deavers

Mr. Deavers worked for many years in his family owned business, Deavers Restaurant before he began working with Brown & Root Company. He was employed with Brown & Root for over 18 years. He was a member of Dayspring Baptist Church, where he was active in the Community Bible Study Group and the Cornerstone Sunday School Class. In his younger years, he loved training horses and enjoyed fresh water fishing. He was an avid Alabama football fan and a Dominos champion.

Larry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda. He is also survived by his daughter, LaSha Powell (David), grandson, Dalton Everette Powell, sister Faye Jordan (Royce) and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held in the Oakleigh Chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery, Grove Hill, AL at 2:00 p.m.
