Lena Delores Taylor

Lena Delores Taylor (Dee Dee), 79, of Bay Minette, AL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2020, at her home. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Lena was born on March 8, 1941, in Texas to Lena Mae Hayles and Harwood C Hayles. Lena loved attending Mardi Gras, The Little Sisters of the Poor Lawn Party, reading, shopping, and her pets. She was a member of Stockton First Baptist Church. Lena was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Jimmy L. Taylor, daughter Brenda G. Smith, son Terry Wayne Taylor, and her parents Lena Mae Harris (Theron) and Harwood (Buddy) Hayles (Dexta). Lena is survived by her son Perry Taylor and daughter Karen Fisk (Bob), grandchildren Michael Lawler (Stacy), Allison Lawler (Eric), Ashley Williams (Robert), Brad Droche (Jill), and Lindsay Ross (Cameron) and 13 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Stockton First Baptist Church, 52700 AL-59 Stockton, AL 36579. A visitation will be held Monday, December 7, at 10:00am and service at 11:00 at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Otis Thames officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery West, Mobile, AL.
