Mrs. Leona Mary Wetzel, 88, resident of Mobile, Alabama (Tillman’s Corner) passed away peacefully on March 30, 2017. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William J. A. Wetzel, beloved daughters, Sandra Maria and Catherine Wetzel. This strong, independent woman, who lived for her family; loved travelling, games and food cooked with love. Her great, sarcastic sense of humor will always be remembered with laughter. She is survived by her 4 sons; David R. Wetzel (wife Sallie Wetzel), Joseph H. Wetzel (wife Loretta Wetzel), Robert A. Wetzel, Michael L. Wetzel (wife Irene Wetzel), her daughter Teri Ann Wetzel-Mann, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brother, Jack Harlan and her sister, Lois Owens, who all invite you to attend the service being held in her honor Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6625 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL 36619.
