Linnie Ruth Worrell – 92, died of natural causes on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. She was born on March 3, 1921, in Brewton, Alabama. In 1937, she married Edward Fox Worrell, to whom she was married for 68 years until his death in 2005. She was a loving housewife and loved all of her children and grandchildren dearly. She will be greatly missed. She was a member of Semmes First Baptist Church. Ruth is survived by her children, Billy Joe Worrell, Joyce Worrell, and Edward Earl Worrell; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 6 great, great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, August 23, 2013, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Graveside services will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery West on Snow Road at 12 noon.
