Lynwood Joseph Plauche – an 85 year-old native of Plaucheville, LA, former resident of New Orleans, LA, and current resident of Mobile, AL died Saturday, July 20, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elster O. and Alma D. Plauche, and brothers, Billy and Kenny Plauche. Mr. Plauche is survived by four siblings, Maureen Hebert, Clair Cook (Joseph), Warren Plauche, and Teddy Plauche (Kathy); godchild, Rose Vinci; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville, LA on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will be in the mausoleum of Mater Dolorosa in Plaucheville, LA. In lieu of flowers, mass and memorial donations may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor Sacred Heart Residence, 1655 McGill Ave., Mobile, AL 36604.
