Mrs. Margaret Gordon Cooper – a native of Yowell, TX and a resident of Mobile, AL since 1941, died Monday, August 16, 2010 in a local health care facility. Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil O. Cooper. She is survived by three daughters, Gaye Cooper (Don) Arnette, Faye Cooper (Russell) Huggins, and Michele Cooper (Gary) Taylor; one brother, Herman Gordon; two sisters, Louise Gordon Floyd and Laurine Gordon Varriel; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Graveside services and interment will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of the South, 5644 Girby Road, Mobile, AL 36693.
