Sep. 1, 1928 - Aug. 4, 2015 Margaret Georgiann "Maggie" Dennis, age 86, a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, passed away at a local hospital Tusday, August 4, 2015. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Catholic Cemetery. Father Mark Neske will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Ms. Dennis was retired from the GM&O Railroad and was a member of holy Family Catholic Church for over forty years. She was past president of the Pixies Playhouse and was best known by family and friends for her annual Easter Egg hunts she held at her home for a span of about forty years. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Frederick Dennis and Mary Frances O'Connor Dennis, her brother, Francis Eugene Dennis, and a foster child she raised to adulthood, Maryann Connor. Ms. Dennis is survived by two brothers, William Frederick (Millie) Dennis and John O'Connor Dennis, 20 nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and nephews, and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
