Margie Elizabeth Fondren

Margie Elizabeth Fondren – an 88 year-old homemaker, native of Sumner, MS, and longtime resident of Mobile passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Mrs. Fondren was a faithful member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Noah Fondren, and daughter, Barbara Jean Taylor. Mrs. Fondren is survived by two children, Donna Fondren Moloney (Thomas) and James C. Fondren (Sandra); sister, Linda Christman (Bob); grandchildren, Mark Taylor (Sherry), Julie Gabrich (Jimmy), Rachel Turner, and Meredith Fondren; great-grandchildren, Mark Taylor, Jr., Nika, Natalie, and Nicole Taylor, and Heather and Kyle Gabrich; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home, P.O.
