Marie Virginia Tellier Kenny, born August 6, 1936, entered into rest Sunday, October 11, 2015 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Catholic Cemetery. Father Francis Sofie will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile. Rosary will be recited from 4:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Mrs. Kenny was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver A. Tellier and Mary Silvia Tellier, and her brother Rev. Msgr. David O. Tellier.
She is survived by her husband Deacon A. Gordon Kenny of Mobile; five children, Anne Marie Kenny (William) Long of Mobile, Joseph Gordon (Shannon) Kenny of Mobile, Mary Katherine Kenny (Dan) Borcicky of Mobile, Mark Oliver (Lora) Kenny of Daphne, AL, and David Michael (Laurie) Kenny of Columbiana, AL; 13 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and other relatives and friends.
