She is preceded in death by her husband, Ben Harrison and son, Gary Blackerby. She is survived by son, Benny and his wife, Karon Harrison, son, Wayne Blackerby and his wife, Janet, sister, Loretta Yancey, brother, BL Yancey, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 12 noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of Flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to M.A.R.C. 759 Congress St. Mobile AL 36603, in memory of her son Gary.
