
Marjorie “Margie” Faith Louderbough Jarrell, 96, of Mobile, Al died at home on Sunday, November 24, 2013. She was born in Daisy, Louisiana on September 10, 1917 to Walter and Mary Louderbough. Margie graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile. She was married to the late Roston Collins Jarrell, Sr. Margie worked for Mobile County until she retired in 1982. She was a member of the Forest Hill Methodist Church. After her husband died, she traveled extensively with her church group to destinations around the world. She loved spending time with her family and cooking. Margie is survived by her four sons, Roston Jarrell, Jr. (Sherry) of Vicksburg, MS, David Jarrell of Solomons, MD, Fred Jarrell (Elizabeth) of Mobile, AL and Malcolm Jarrell (Susan) of Baton Rouge, LA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; Faith Mumma (Brad Ditzler), Janet Blindauer (Robert), Michele Christiansen (Lonnie), Charlotte Jarrell (Companion Neil Billeaudeaux), Brian Mumma (Michelle), James Jarrell (Candy), Careen Weldy (Alan), Megan Jarrell and Roston Jarrell. Five great-grandchildren; Joshua Short (Danielle), Brianna Ellison (Rodney), Spencer Blindauer (Trista), Shaun Ditzler and Ashlin Jarrell and two great-great-grandchildren, Lena and Sophia Short. Margie was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.mmgfuneralhome.com.
