Marjorie Joy Thurston Graham

Marjorie Joy Thurston Graham, a longtime resident of Irvington, AL, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014, at the age of 79. Mrs. Graham was a member of First Evangelical Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Wellington Graham, Jr.; her parents, Ray Wilson Thurston and Hazel Kunze Thurston; her brothers, Russell, Raymond, Gilbert and Gerald Thurston; her sister, Wilda Thurston Green and her grandson, Aaron Christopher Graham. She is survived by her four children, Louis Wellington Graham, III, Ray Wilson (Beverly) Graham, Marjorie Joy Graham (Doug) Sanford and Amanda Graham (Willie) Previto, all of Irvington, AL; her brother, Stanley Thurston, of Mobile, AL; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Kevin Brouillette, will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening, September 1, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
