For the few times that I had the chance to be with Aunt Issy, she and I became very close and she lives in my heart forever!! She was very special and will be missed!

My fondest memories of Martha was how she faithfully and prayerfully attended daily Mass, sitting in the first row at St. Catherine.  She was a great lady who did a lot of good for a lot of people.

I only knew her a little while and she had a beautiful soul and spirit about her,

Martha was part of our family for the past 40 years.  She loved and cared for my grandfather and my great aunt and was special to our entire family.  I spent many wonderful times with her and will be forever grateful that I could join her last year at her beloved Celtic Retreat.  Martha was so special, I miss her so much.  She is the last link with the Mobile side of my family and that makes me very sad. I loved her independence and strong will and her generosity with never a thought for herself.  Martha, I love you and miss you.

Martha (Issy) was very caring and thoughtful to me and my family.  She will be missed. She was my support system over difficult times.

We (Suzie,Nancy,Jackie,David,Melissa, London, John and Nancy Mortensen wish to be remembered and to thank her for being part of our lives.

Martha was a neighbor and a mainstay of the Foot of the Hill Community Group.  She was a wonderful person who cared about others and especially about children.  I will miss her.  Mary Ann (Scotti) Days

What a wonderful person Ms. Duncan was. So full of life and fun. I will miss our visits.

I first met Martha at Searcy Hospital.  Martha displayed such a loving, untiring affection for all the patients there.  Our friendship continued through the years.  She was god-mother to my first son.  She was also the friend that never changed.  If time passed between our chats we would simply pick up from where we left off.  Her love for children and animals - especially her boxers - and for anyone in need was so remarkable.  She was a wonderful person and will surely be missed.  My condolences to all her family, extended family and friends.

 I first met Martha through family, Judy my Neice loved her, so did everyone who knew her. Her kindness and Generosity shone through her everday  life.
It was years later when we became close friends. We laughed together and 
were concerned over people and many times went to our favorite Resturant for Lunch to exchange views and remember the good ole days. We both were passionate about the love of Jesus in our lives and I know where we will meet the next time. There !   Friend forever, Jean Givens
