Mary Ann Fye

Mary Ann Fye, age 75, longtime resident of Grand Bay, AL, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Shellie Hartley, daughter, Candace Tucker, 2 grandsons, J.J. and Michael, 3 brothers, Carroll, Willie and Butch. Mary retired from the Mobile Greyhound Park after many years of service. She enjoyed fishing, especially with her son John, yard sales, and flowers. She has logged many many hours playing scrabble, and in recent years, facebook became a source of enjoyment, meeting new friends (as far away as England), and finding old ones. Mary was a "unique" lady, who always "told you what she honestly thought", and who's humor was a part of her loving spirit. She will greatly missed. Mary is survived by husband of 29 years, Richard Fye, sons, Tim Tucker (Sheri), John Tucker and daughter April Tucker (Jamie Middleton). She is also survived by her grandchildren; George, Amanda, Katie, Jacob, Timmy John, Taylor, Brittany and Mary Pearl, brothers, Neil Hartley (Annette), Roy Hartley, sisters, Judy Callen (Dick), Elaine Moore (James), and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, on Tuesday, December 18, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saraland, AL beginning at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
