Mary Catherine Jernigan Gilpin – a 73 year-old native and lifelong resident of Mobile passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Gilpin Gross, Cathy Gilpin Fail, and Julie Gilpin Carlisle; brother, Eddie Jernigan; grandchildren, Jason Morgan Gross, Stephanie Gross Daniel, McKenzie Leigh Brady, Harrison Bentley Fail, Hunter Maxwell Fail, Thomas Blake Turner, and Lawrence Braxton Turner; three great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. A memorial mass will be held from Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
