Mary Jones Hathaway Leslie

Mary was a member of Curry Memorial Presbyterian Church in Memphis and Cottage Hill Presbyterian Church in Mobile.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Newell Cleve Hathaway; and her older brother, Coy Jones.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Kay (Mike) Riggins and B. Carol (Tom) Newberg; three step-children, Anthony Leslie, Donald Leslie, and Cathy McCary; six grandchildren, Christy Michelle Byrd, Wesley Lane Riggins, Christopher Glenn Duggin, Chelsea Danielle Newberg, Kimberly McCary, and Erin McCary; four great-grandchildren, Jaxon Mayer Byrd, Madison Grace Byrd, Timothy Jared Sutphin, and Jonathan Michael Riggins; two brothers, Fred Jones and Clay Jones; one sister, Kay Smallwood; nieces and nephews in Alabama and Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
