Ms. Lawrence is preceded in death by her parents, William Malcolm Lawrence and Brownie Mitchell Lawrence both of Fayette, Alabama. She is survived by her aunt, Mrs. Wynelle Mitchell Matthews and numerous cousins.
Mary was a graduate of Fayette County High School and attended the University of Alabama. She worked for Rust Engineering and retired from Regions Bank in Birmingham. She was a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Birmingham and since moving to Mobile, she was a member of First Baptist Church, Mobile.
The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until service time of 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be offered to the Foundation of First Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
