Vacation with mom and dad. She had been wanting me to go on vacation with them for several years prior but I couldn't due to work schedule. I finally got to go just before she passed and she got to see that I was finally happy and found true love. My fiance Tammy loved my mother and my mother loved her and could see that she made me happier than I had ever been.  She was right there beside me and my father when she passed  when no one else was. We love and miss you momma

She loved her yellow roses..it would bring tears to her eyes when she would get them. I wish I could put these roses in your hands personally mom. I love and miss you,

I was so happy on this day that Tammy and I got to go with you and dad on vacation and I got to see the amazing sights with you. These hot air balloons you talked so much about how beautiful it was the first time you were able to see still brings a smile to my face. I was so happy to see this with you before you left .....I love you mama and I can't wait to see your smiling face and give you another big hug and tell you I LOVE YOU.

One of the last times I saw mom feeling good and active.

Just watching you sleep and being able to spend time with you was so wonderful.

Dear Mom,
  It's been 3 years since you left us and not one day has passed that I haven't missed you and cried. I promised you I would look after dad if you left us first and I am doing my best. You made me promise not to cry when you leave but that's the one promise I haven't been able to keep. If anyone reading this still has their mother here on earth...pick up the phone and call her and tell her you love her. I skipped one day and never got another opportunity to tell mine. I love you momma.

It's been one year since you left us and it still seems like it was yesterday.  The hurt has not left nor do I expect it ever will. I miss being able to ask you for advice and having our ever so silly conversations.  I miss you mom and think of you every day. I love you and wish I had just one more day with you to tell you I love you. 

Two months have past now since you left us mom and it hasn't been easy. I miss you.

I have been trying to think about which, of ALL of the great memories that I would like to share, since you were called home to spend your eternal life in Heaven. I have so many Memories that are funny, happy, sad and loving and I can only say "I thank God for all of them".  You have been a wonderful Mother who loved her Husband and Sons unconditionally and  a great friend and listener. You had always said " that this is everything that you had prayed for when this time came and I  am so very glad that you are not in pain anymore and that your love and laughter remain in all of HEARTS until we meet again in Heaven!  I love you Mrs. Lil and I am  honored to have been a part of family. 


My mother in law and adopted mama, for 27 years, I will miss you and our goofy talks, about everything and everybody. We have laughed, cried and shared more with each other than we ever did with anybody and when I lost my own mother, you were there for me. We have taken many trips, together and sat around your kitchen table (boy if those walls could talk)...lol. Im so sorry that we didnt see each other for the last 2 and a half years, but I have been sick with my heart, also. I know you didnt know but I had quadruple bypass Nov 26th, 2018 and wished you were there, but your son was so awesome, he never left my side! You would have been so proud of him! I know that you knew this, we loved you and missed you, so much and life will never be the same, without you.  I love you, Lil, Go fly high, sweet mama

Mom wanted my fiance and I to go on vacation with her and dad, but my job had me held up for a couple of years. Then mom had a heart attack and dad was having health issues as well.  I left my job to come home as any child would do for parents. When she got better we took that vacation with her and dad....and she was so happy.

For 51 years I have called you momma and now you are gone. My heart hurts more than it ever has, but I have a lifetime of memories to keep me going. I never dreamed this day would come and now it has. I love you momma.
